Golfers will know that Titleist Pro-V1 or Pro-V1X's are the best balls in golf. This also means that they are the most expensive - usually more than a few pounds per ball even when they are second hand. They are, however, worth playing with because they have several advantages that cheaper balls do not have such as control with spin, distance, and feel. It is, then, particularly annoying when the first shot of the day launches a brand new Pro-V right into the woods never to be found again. It has happened to everyone and the only course of action is to reload with another one and repeat the process. As with everything in golf, it's all about patience so taking a few off the tee for the first hole and not getting angry could simply mean that all the bad shots are out of the way and the round should go smoothly from there.
9. Slow Play
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl7B55srBhs&hd=1 Slow play can cause a lot of issues in golf, but mainly it's just not pleasant to be waiting on every tee for the group in front to discuss each of their shots before leaving the green - especially if it is really hot or rainy outside. Slow play causes many of the other problems on this list to arise, but really it is just annoying to have to spend 5 hours on a round that should take 3 and a half on the only day off of the whole week. As this video with Ben Crane - recent winner on the PGA Tour shows, there are many people trying to address the issue. Jim Furyk and Ben Crane are two of the slowest golfers on the tour. While there are jokes to be made about it in the case of Crane, it can be infuriating to play with a golfer who marks his or her ball on the green several times per putt or steps away 4 times to check the line.
