20 Hardest Football Hardmen Of All Time

3. Graeme Souness

Definitely not a man to be messed with, Souness was famed for some of the most x-rated tackles of the 80€™s, but also was probably the most complete midfielder of his generation, he had everything, most prominently his ability to tackle. Souness could orchestrate the game, but also see red and destroy it in a matter of seconds. In his managerial career, Souness would even challenge his own players if he felt they were getting too cocky. These days, he takes the same €˜no nonsense€™ attitude into punditry, and is not afraid to speak his mind to the TV cameras. Souness was not a man to be crossed during his football career, or even as a manager, and still retains his hard image to this day.
