Winning trophies is the main aim of any football club but, for the fans, derby day victories taste almost just as sweet. This is another aspect that Arsenal are the clear winners of.

The Gunners boast 77 wins against Spurs, who have only beaten them on 55 occasions. Meanwhile, the two clubs have drawn 48 times. Arsenal have enjoyed a similar dominance in the Premier League era too, losing just nine of 46 meetings during this time.

In fact, Spurs don’t boast a head-to-head supremacy in any competition. On derby day, the local bragging right often remain with the Reds.

Oh, and Arsenal managed to win the Premier League at White Hart Lane of all places, remember?
