2017 NBA Draft Lottery: 10 Ideal Selections For The First 10 Teams
7. Phoenix Suns - <span Style="font-size: 15px;">Jayson Tatum</span>
The Phoenix Suns were hands down the biggest victims of the lottery system: the odds were in their favor to win the third overall pick, but they slid to fourth against the Philadelphia 76ers. This most likely puts them out of the running for either of the elite point guards, who could have allowed them to trade Eric Bledsoe, and Josh Jackson. The most sensible move for them to make at #4 would be Duke swingman Jayson Tatum.
The Suns aren't deep on the wing and Tatum would offer them a more established player as they develop Dragan Bender and Marquese Chriss. His collegiate stats are impressive:16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game on .452%/.342%/.849% shooting.
The former Blue Devil could start right away, allowing the Suns to move TJ Warren to the bench as sixth man, where his high powered shooting can tear apart secondary units across the league.
