5. Allyson Felix
Events: 200m, 4x100m Relay, 4x400m Relay The darling girl of American athletics, Allyson Michelle Felix can do no wrong. The diminutive 27-year-old sprinter from Los Angeles became the first woman since 1988 to win 3 golds on the track, winning the 200m sprint on her own, and as part of the USA teams which won the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. She's astonishingly light for a sprinter, weighing a mere 55kg! More importantly to some, she's a part of the "Project Believe" programme of the US Anti-Doping Agency, meaning she's in a voluntary programme of regular drug-testing to prove that she runs clean. She's not been the best in the world so far in 2013, coming in 7th on the 200m rankings list, but this lady is a proven championship performer, and we can expect to see her season's best come as she progresses through the rounds.
