5 Hideous Premier League Kits For 13/14 Season

2. Everton's 'Sunshine Yellow' Away Kit

everton Firstly, I thought the whole point of an away kit was to have a different coloured strip, to be worn when the opponents home kit is the same colour as yours. Doesn't having an away kit that is half the same colour as the home kit defeat the object? Nevertheless, this is what Nike have come up with for Everton's new 'away' kit. It's a rather vulgar combination of dark blue and bright yellow. The main shirt colour is described by Everton as 'sunshine yellow', which actually wouldn't look too bad on it's own. But for some reason, Nike designers have decided to make the top third of the shirt dark blue and have placed a blue band across the top of the yellow part of the jersey, which looks completely out of place. Nike obviously had the idea of Everton's away kit bearing a resemblance to the home kit, backed up by the 'It's in our DNA' strapline, but while the idea isn't too bad, it's been terribly executed.
