YoutubeNick Newell is notable for three things: for having an undefeated 11-0 record in MMA, for having been the XFC lightweight champion, and for having one hand. I'm deliberately listing that one third, but lets face it, there's a curiosity factor when he fights. Newell's missing hand is the result of something known as congenital amputation, which is a fancy way of saying he was born without it. Not one to let that stop him, however, Newell excelled at high school and collegiate wrestling, within 300 wins between the two, and turned that into a successful MMA career. While Dana White has publicly stated he won't sign Newell for the UFC, Newell has been doing most of his talking in the cage. If he wins on Saturday, he'll make his biggest statement yet.
