5 Most Brutal Acts Of Revenge In Football History

2. Sweden Troll Layvin Kurzawa

Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear...

For Layvin Kurzawa, the brutality on show here was nothing physical. Instead, the brutality came in the shape of being completely and utterly trolled by an entire opposition team.

To set the stage, left-back Kurzawa had scored an 88th-minute goal for France U21s against Sweden U21s that looked to have sealed Les Bleus qualification for Euro 2015. For some reason, though, the player decided to taunt Sweden striker John Guidetti with his celebration.

What followed, of course, was a last-minute goal from Sweden which sent them - not France - through to Euro 2015.

How did the Swedes celebrate? You guessed it. This brutal, much-deserved moment of revenge saw the entire Sweden team mock Kurzawa's earlier celebration.

Going one further, Sweden would win Euro 2015 - pulling out that same celebration as they lifted the trophy!
