By far the biggest factor in the battle for the Premier League title is the fact that Chelsea hold a four point advantage over their nearest rivals and if they end up empty handed they only have themselves to blame. Even though there is still 30 points left to play for a four point cushion is huge as it allows Chelsea to have a couple of slip-ups before they drop a few places. However, Mourinho is sure to make sure this doesn't happen as the last thing he'd like to see is his side bottle it this close to the end of the campaign. The clash with Liverpool three games before the end of the season is being tipped as the title decider but by this stage Chelsea may have already cinched the league. They hold the advantage with points and fixtures, which together make a deadly concoction in the eyes of their title rivals. With just ten games to go it's all looking good for Chelsea and the indications suggest that they will win the title. these four points will be key to their run-in and without it the title race would be very different indeed. Chelsea will be looking to maintain or extend this cushion. You'd have to expect them to do exactly that. They had a fairly slow start to the season but since then they have been formidable, getting the balance right of when to go for all three points and when to settle for a draw. After all, when you hold the advantage a draw with your rivals isn't bad at all as the gap stays exactly the same.
