5 Things That Fantasy Sports Players Hate

2. Late Team Changes

Team Sheet Similar to the earlier entry about misreported injuries, just as easily can a player be pulled from the game, with no notice. The nightmare goes like this: the game is about to start, your set up is ready, you've got your laptop on the stats and a live score update of your match up this week and you are all ready to go. You watch as the teams line up and the commentator announces that there has been a change to the line up, and you're player has been taken out of the team due to a late illness or injury. As a fantasy sport coach, this can make the world around you crumble. All of a sudden, your certainty of victory turns into an almost certain loss due to being a player down, which can kill teams, especially if with the inability to change line-ups once a round begins due to the lockout system used in every fantasy sporting league, while actual coaches can bring in a player to fill in the spot, the same can not be done for your team. So the player sits on your team, with no ability to score, taking a space that could be given to a player that would have actually added to your score and been more productive. The nightmare that can be added on to this already insulting event is if the player is injured quiet seriously and instead of being out for one game, they are out for longer, forcing you to find a replacement.
