5 UFC Challengers Who Could Eventually Beat Ronda Rousey

3. Holly Holm

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ehpeubZZlY The boxing sensation Holly Holm has generated plenty of interest on the New Mexico scene. She is 33-2 as a pro boxer and 7-0 in MMA. She€™s won a plethora of awards from 'knockout of the year' to 'rising star of the year'. It also helps her popularity that she comes from Greg Jackson€™s legendary camp in New Mexico. Her profile continues to keep on growing through her past fights being showcased more and well respected coaches praising her. What makes her facing Rousey so intriguing is based off from one fact. Rousey has never faced such a decorated striker. Holm is technically sound and has proven to have power in both hands. While her overall wrestling and grappling is a work in progress, she has been training with Ricky Lundell. The only way to improve is to train with the best coaches in the world. She is taking advantage of that and learning from him. After retiring from boxing in 2013, she has been fully committed to learning about all the aspects of MMA. She won Legacy FC€™s inaugural women€™s bantamweight championship a few months ago to continue to prove her worth. There are many qualities that she possesses that fans will get excited for. Most fans always want to see knockouts and she has provided that in six of her seven pro fights. While the women€™s division has produced entertaining fights, we've yet to see a true knockout. Holm should be able to provide that, as long as she signs with the UFC. A tune-up fight against a well-known bantamweight will be necessary. If she were to win, I don€™t see any issue of her receiving a title shot. She€™s that special as a fighter.
