This is a dream fight, possibly a pipe dream, but really, this is what it might come down to. Jones has talked about heading north to heavyweight before, and has commented in the past that he would do it as soon as 2014. That's out of the question now, as new contenders for his belt have continued to emerge. Jones' victim list is without question sick however: Shogun, The Dragon, Rampage, The American Gangster, The Phenom, Suga, The Mauler, Glover - and those are just in title fights! The true challenge before Jones may lay up above 225lbs, and if he manages to dispatch Gustafsson, Cormier, and Johnson, the time just might be right. As Jones gets a little older, the weight cut to 205 will likely get rougher, and he may find himself playing with the likes of JDS, Werdum, and of course Cain. Personally, I'd love to see what would happen if he went up - but he has a bit of unfinished business to attend to this fall at the very least!
