6 Main Card Predictions For UFC Fight Night: Souza vs. Mousasi

6. John Moraga vs. Justin Scoggins

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88Cd1--fP8U Weight Class: Flyweight Opening the event is a bout between flyweight John Moraga (14-3), currently ranked fifth in the division, and the up and coming Justin Scoggins (9-1). This is the perfect placement for this fight on the card. The flyweights are quick, and will warm fans up. They might not end in a knockout, but they should put on a show. Hyping the fight aside, here's why this match matters: Moraga has already had a title shot, and lost, to the UFC's one and only flyweight champ Demitrious Johnson. He's also lost to the number one contender, John Dodson, who is injured at the moment. That was his last fight, and he's looking to get back on track. Justin Scoggins, meanwhile, is a prospect who won his first two fights in the UFC, but suffered a setback (and the first loss of his career) against Dustin Ortiz back in July at the TUF 19 finale. Moraga has faced stiffer competition in his career thus far, and the experience will give him the advantage; look for him to take a three round decision. Scoggins still has some upside, but he'll need a few more fights before really advancing in the division.
