Deadline Day; there's nothing quite like it. Whether you're a Newcastle, Spurs, Nottingham Forrest or Luton supporter, fans go through the same emotions until 11pm creeps in. Deadline Day in theory is a dreadful way to do business and run a club: managers are awake even earlier before training to outline the day ahead, agents and players rush to get a move organised and a bumper contract and players are valued at much higher prices than they were even a week ago. This year, Jose Mourinho can probably sit back and relax knowing the major signings were made in July and that the only business might see Petr Cech leave. It will likely be different for Arsene Wenger and Louis Van Gaal, who should have a very stressful day ahead.
