7 Contenders For PFA Player Of The Year 2020 Prize

5. Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Sergio Aguero's accomplishments this season have been largely eclipsed by Manchester City's poor defense of the Premier League title. Otherwise, he has been as peerless as ever.

The Argentine ace is having a stormer with 16 goals netted so far, even though the figures would've been much more had he staved himself off the muscle injury that robbed him off a couple of games.

His goals have directly accounted for nine points in the league, more than any player in the squad, and that should give you an idea of how important he remains to the side even as he turns 32 soon.

Despite racking up huge numbers for the Skyblues over the years, he hasn't won the 'PFA Player of the Year' award yet, which is a shame. His prospects are dicey this year too, but he could become a favourite if he's able to continue in the same vein once the season resumes.
