7 Contenders For PFA Player Of The Year 2020 Prize
4. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
There's a case to be made for Alexander-Arnold's precocious talent that at just 21 years of age, he's competing more for the 'PFA Player of the Year' prize than the 'PFA Young Player of the Year'.
He lost out on the latter to Raheem Sterling last year, but looks set for bigger things this time around. His tally of 12 assists so far is the highest for a full-back in Europe's top five leagues, while along the way he also became the first ever player in the Premier League history to rack up 10+ assists in consecutive seasons.
He has switched off in defense on a few occasions, but the Liverpool starlet has more than made up for it with his eye for pass, pin-point crosses, accurate decision-making, and scorching runs.
Everything that Alexander-Arnold does, easily belies his age as he's well and truly redefining the full-back position.
