1. LeBron Will Never Reach An NBA Finals Series Again
LeBron James is 30 now, and has only two NBA Championships to his name. Most players would kill for such a tally, but a man lauded as the greatest player of a generation (and a legitimate rival to Jordan's legacy) should have surely amassed more by now - especially having been given so many chances. Sure, players such as Tim Duncan - and Jordan himself - were winning titles well into their 30s, but they benefitted from two of the greatest coaches in NBA history, as well as a supporting cast of legitimately great teammates. LeBron has neither of these. It may seem harsh, but this could be James' last chance. A loss here would be demoralising for 'The King', possibly beyond repair. Cleveland's long-suffering fans would once again get on his back, teammates would be shuffled around and traded away, and the new generation (Harden, Westbrook, Durant, Davis, and Steph Curry himself) would grow stronger with each season. On the flipside, this could be the beginning of something truly special for the Golden State Warriors. Coach Steve Kerr has surpassed all expectations in leading his squad to the NBA Finals in his very first season, and they look set to potentially dominate the league for years to come. The stakes couldn't be higher.
