For anyone who believes in the theory that a man should have more hair on his chin than on his head, look no further than Adam Clayton. The current Middlesbrough midfielder has made it to the the Premier League the hard way, through the lower leagues.

Clayton was signed by Middlesbrough from Huddersfield Town by current manager Aitor Karanka, after a match between the two sides. Karanka, allegedly stating, 'Who's that player with the beard?' That is impressive, Clayton's beard being a contributing factor in his rise to the Premier League.

Most noteworthy however, is that before he departed Huddersfield at the end of 13/14 Championship season, Clayton dyed his impressive facial hair blue and white (matching the Terriers home kit of blue and white stripes). This all in the name to raise money for charity, what a farewell to the club, #AdamClaytonWhatAGuy!
