8 Possible Opponents For Conor McGregor At UFC 200

4. Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone

Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone has made it clear that he'll take any fight, at any time, anywhere. When McGregor's fight with Rafael dos Anjos fell through, Cerrone was the first to step up and say that he would take the fight. Cerrone vs. McGregor wouldn't be nearly as big as GSP vs. McGregor would be. But it would still draw a lot of attention because the two men are two of the UFC's best personalities. Even though Cerrone is an excellent grappler, he has no problem standing up and trading with his opponents. So as long as the fight didn't go to the ground, he'd be a pretty good stylistic match-up for McGregor. The one problem with the fight is that like Nate Diaz, Cerrone is much bigger than McGregor. He recently made the move up to welterweight, and has had success in the weight class. But if McGregor vs. Cerrone were to happen, it'd probably take place at lightweight.
