8 Rangers Players Who Should Be Embarrassed To Wear The Shirt

There was a point when young Fraser Aird was considered a great prospect at Ibrox, but what's the point in having a winger who can't take players on, get past them and whip dangerous balls into the box for the strikers? That right there is exactly what was wrong with Aird, he's been largely ineffectual in wide positions, rendering him pointless.

Falling out of the first team as the season progressed, by early-2015, Fraser wasn't really featured all that often. Interim manager Stuart McCall agreed with fans that the attacking midfielder wasn't cutting it, and he was sent back down to the reserves in an attempt to develop his play.

Sadly for Aird, that didn't work out either, and his performances for the Rangers Under 20's side were arguably worse than those for the top team. In the first team squad, at least he had players around him who could cover for his mistakes, but he was expected to be a leader in the reserve outfit, something he couldn't handle.

Rangers don't have the kind of financial ability to accommodate passengers, and that's exactly what Fraser Aird was last campaign. Does he have more in his locker? That remains to be seen.
