This one is a bit of a misnomer. Of course there has never been any suggestion of the club physically moving to England but one persisting rumour bandied about (at least before the beginning of their current problems) mostly by Rangers' own hierarchy is that they need to remove themselves from the confines of the Scottish game to remain competitive. One option which they consistently suggest is both Old Firm clubs moving to the Best League In The World„, the Barclays Premier League, following in the footsteps of Welsh clubs Swansea and Cardiff. Despite many a polite "thanks but no thanks" from the powers that be in England, this is one that both sides of the Old Firm divide seem keen to keep revisiting.
