The Norwegian had a successful career which included stints with Valencia, Lyon and Aston Villa, and would have earned a pretty penny in that time. In 2012, however, he was declared bankrupt after a tax mix-up.

He was also the victim of fraud, paying £200,000 for a Porsche that never arrived. The bankruptcy order was annulled in 2012 but we're not sure if his sports car came in the post.
