1. For The Fans
The most important reason why Arsene Wenger needs to deliver a trophy this season is for the fans, who have had to put up with a lot in the last seven years without a trophy. They have seen their favourite players sold to their rivals, they have seen poor replacements brought in, they have witnessed Chelsea being the first London club to win the European Cup, they have seen a resurgent Tottenham, and theyve even had to witness Emmanuel Adebayor running eighty yards to celebrate scoring against them. Enough is enough Arsene. Im sure Arsene and the Board would be quick to point out that Arsenal fans have also seen 15 years of the Champions League, moving to a new stadium and being financially secure but someone needs to remind Arsene and the board that fans dont celebrate finishing fourth, having the most expensive tickets in the Premier League or having a healthy profit margin. Enough is enough Arsene. When Arsenal moved to the Emirates the fans were told it would take a couple of years to realize the financial benefits as they would have to pay off the debt the move incurred. Those benefits never came. Now the fans are being spun the same lines except this time they are being told Arsenal will be able to compete when FIFA Fair Play Regulations come into effect. This is due to happen in a couple of years. Enough is enough, Arsene. The Arsenal fans are the reason the club exists: they are the reason majority shareholder Stan Kroenke was able to spend $80 million on a ranch bigger than Birmingham and they have shown nothing but loyalty and patience.
