Finally, and probably the most achievable deal of the bunch, Ashley Williams has expressed he is "flattered" by interest from Arsenal, reports The Metro.
"Its very flattering but you take it with a pinch of salt because you see a lot written and you never know what to make of it," said the Swansea defender.
With the added incentive of Champions League football, the Wales international also made no secret of his desire to play at the very highest level.
"If I sat here and said I didnt want to play in the Champions League, thatd be a lie," he admitted.
"As professionals, you want to see how far you can go in your career, and competing for titles is where everyone wants to be. However you get there is a different story."
Everything appears to be in place to push through a move to the Emirates but we've seen this situation go horribly wrong before with deals for Gonzalo Higuain and Luiz Gustavo collapsing. If Wenger truly has learned his lesson from losing out on those two two this summer, this is the signing to prove it.
