5. Thierry Henry
Could club-legend Thierry Henry be persuaded into spending a third stint at Arsenal and a second on loan? Henry returned to Emirates Stadium last season to help fill the void in the wake of an injury pileup and had been training with the Gunners
as recently as January this year. The return of the New York Red Bull's star doesn't tie in with his side's MLS schedule, which runs until October, meaning any return to north London would see him miss the final two months of the season. Which is why Arsenal would have to look into buying him outright in a one-year deal or trying to persuade New York Red Bulls into letting him go for two months. Both are perhaps unlikely scenarios but it remains an option for Wenger at least.
