Along with deposed Premier League champions Manchester City, the Gunners have been linked with a move for Napoli's in form Edinson Cavani, according to the
Metro. The Uruguayan has been in inspired form of late, scoring 32 goals in his last 39 appearances, and is one of the most coveted strikers in Europe, along with Radamel Falcao of Atletico Madrid. Arsenal desperately need a proven out-and-out goalscorer to replace Robin van Persie and Cavani could be just the ticket.
Likelihood? According to reports, Arsenal have been quoted a mind-bending £60 million if they want Cavani. Wenger has £70 million to spend though so don't rule it out.
