It appears a growing number of Aston Villa fans are getting frustrated with Paul Lambert with some even calling him to be sacked. As a Norwich City fan that was devastated when he left, I feel a need to react. Football fans are fickle we know that, and they generally react to the last result that their team records. However, those of us that understand this game at a higher level than the average fan must agree that Lambert is a top quality manager that is destined for the very top of our game. I think that the job he did last season at Villa under difficult circumstances went a long way to proving what a good manager he is. Therefore, I am amazed to see that he is under pressure but as well as fans being fickle they are often impatient as well. This could well be at the heart of the problem but I have certainly seen progress for them during this campaign and will use this slideshow to illustrate why I think that he should be given more time
