Chelsea: 5 Reasons Eden Hazard Will Be The World's Best Player
3. Ambitious To Improve
Hazard has one key attribute to becoming the world's best - the hunger and desire to get to that level. Of course, hunger and desire will not win you awards and trophies on their own, but then neither will pure talent. Hazard has laid his cards on the table in recent days, and has stated his desire to follow in the footsteps of Ronaldo and Messi. He will need to be careful to not get ahead of himself however, as improvement should not be measured in merely the amount of goals scored, and Mourinho will not let him be selfish just to increase his own profile as potentially the world's best. He will be better off aiming to be the new Ribery, as in any other era the Frenchman would have been the best in the world himself. For him to want to improve, and be at the level of Ronaldo and Messi, is commendable, but he shouldn't be disappointed if he finds he can't score 50 goals a season, as players of that statistical calibre do not come along all that often. If he can carry his current form into the World Cup, that will be enough for now.
