Roman Abramovich has always been a sucker for signing big-name strikers for an inordinate sum just to bring them to Chelsea. However, the hefty price tag that is sure to come along with a player of Falcao's ability and sheer class could prove to be a more than worthy investment for Roman and Chelsea. Chelsea have
expressed an interest in Falcao throughout the season and his amazing performances in La Liga, which have seen Atletico Madrid begin to
challenge for second place, have done nothing to dent that interest! After
rejecting the advances of Manchester United, and refusing to comment on his transfer situation, Chelsea remain the front runners to sign Falcao and bring him to the Premier League. I for one hope that Chelsea are successful in signing Falcao as it would bring a much needed injection of pure class to their attacking numbers and he would certainly light up the Premier League.
