Chelsea Transfers: 5 Players Mourinho Will Sign In January To Make Blues His Own

1. Luis Suarez

Given that the aforementioned duo of Andre Schurrle and Samuel Eto'o have been below par since joining Chelsea, Mourinho has further need to bring in a new striker in that he doesn't want Demba Ba. Ba has become something of a forgotten man at Stamford Bridge since leaving Newcastle, having made only two Premier League starts under Mourinho this season, with a further two coming off the bench. The Senegal international only got 12 minutes against former club West Ham in the Blue's last outing, and will surely be allowed to leave in January. Such an eventuality would leave Chelsea light up front, which is why I think Mourinho needs to sign two new strikers this winter. As well as going in for Falcao, he may also make a big-money bid for Luis Suarez. Reports suggest the 'Special One' is lining up a £50 million-plus-Ba bid in January to test Liverpool's resolve to hang on to the in-demand Uruguayan. Suarez was the subject of intense interest from Arsenal over the summer and publicly admitted he wanted to leave in order to play in the Champions League. Chelsea can offer him that, and will be further interested in the striker in that he is not cup-tied as Liverpool are not in Europe this season. Who do you think Jose Mourinho will sign in January?
