3. Valentin Stocker
With 7 goals and 18 assists last season, it is easy to see why the Swiss winger has attracted
the attention of various clubs across Europe. Although the left-winger has not had the best start to this season, getting sent-off against, Stocker remains a vital cog in the Basel team. He is very talented on the ball, a good passer and will score goals. Although he is primarily a left-winger, Stocker will look to play-off main striker and target-man Marco Streller, and will look to create chances for his team-mates. It will be very important to limit Stocker time and space on the ball, otherwise he has the skill to cut through the defence and produce a goal-scoring opportunity.
