Euro 2012: Best Team of the Tournament XI

Manager - Vicente Del Bosque (Spain)

How could I not pick the man who masterminded Spain's successful campaign. He noticed before the tournament started that his players were supremely tired and set up a system that allowed them to retain what little energy they had and would allow them to seemingly coast to the final. He got lucky with the lottery of a shootout in the semi final but you need a bit of long along the way and when Spain got to the final he let the shackles off. A special nod goes out to Cesare Prandelli for the job he has done with Italy. Coming off the back of a miserable World Cup and yet another match fixing scandal at club level he has shown a newly attack minded Italy that will surely be contenders for Brazil 2014.
