ST - Mario Mandžuki (Croatia)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGrBD4gGokg This was the toughest slot to fill because no striker really grabbed this competition by the scruff of it's neck. Spain didn't play with one most games, Jogi Loew's tinkering didn't help Gomez or Klose, Balotelli played phenomenally against Germany but didn't really have any other impact, Ibrahimovic scored, for me, the goal of the tournament but again didn't do enough in the other games and other names like Rooney and Benzema may as well have stayed at home. I thought Danny Wellbeck had a good tournament and scored a delightfully taken goal against Sweden but for all round impact in every game he played I had to give the nod to Mandžuki. His goals were well taken and deserved. His all round play was excellent and I thought Croatia were desperately unlucky not to qualify for the quarter finals.
