Euro 2012: Best Team of the Tournament XI

LB - Jordi Alba (Spain)

Another no brainer because Alba was superb. If you didn't know who he was before the tournament you do know. To put it simply he is a bundle of energy. He never stops running and he is the perfect wide man for Spain. In a team full of midfielder's looking to play the width of the 18 yard box he supply's them with exceptional width and an end product. He spent the whole competition showcasing his incredible energy levels and his efforts paid of with his first international goal in the final. Even though Barcelona let him go as a youngster they have got him at a bargain price of £12 million and if he can keep his development up he is a the next in line for Ashley Cole's crown of best left back in the world.
