Everton 3-3 Liverpool: Player Ratings

Joe Allen: Pass master should have scored when Suarez slalomed through Everton defence and teed him up. Later booked. Ironic that he replaced Sturridge only for that player to come and rescue the draw. A frustrating afternoon for Allen. Subbed. 4/10.

Jordan Henderson: Peripheral in a nominal wide right berth, but still somehow managed to injure Baines. Like Allen absolutely nothing to write home about here and coupled with recent tepid displays on England duty. Needs to find a position and stick to it. Jack of all trades is no use going forward. 4/10.

Luis Suarez: Liverpool's best player. A goal and an assist was proof of that. He even picked up an injury and got poleaxed by Mirallas, but still carried on. Yellow carded for pulling back Deulofeu later on. Roundly booed by Goodison crowd, but used to being that hate figure. Played well both individual and for the team today. 7/10. Philippe Coutinho: Easy finish unmarked at close range to score the opener, but did little else in all honesty. Still finding his range after returning from a shoulder injury before the international break. 6/10. Subs: Victor Moses: Got 20 minutes and headed over late on when teed up by Suarez. Mystifying why Rodgers opted for Henderson over a more direct wide threat. 5.5/10. Daniel Sturridge: Snatched a point for his team with late set piece header off the bench. Continues to make an impact for the Reds. Helping them to a derby draw increasing his standing with the Kop. 6/10. Who was your man of the match? Have your say below.
