Every Current Premier League Manager As Footballers Ranked - Worst To Best
4. Ole Gunnar Solskjær - Manchester United
The physical embodiment of a super-sub, Ole Gunnar Solkjær seemingly appeared out of nowhere when Alex Ferguson signed him for Manchester United in 1996, but would go on to establish himself in one of the most talent-stacked teams in the history of English football for over a decade.
Though best remembered for scoring that unforgettable goal in the 1999 Champions League Final to secure United's first European Cup in three decades, the Norwegian would prove himself a valuable servant to the club for several years, despite rarely being the first name on the team sheet at Old Trafford.
Injuries would ultimately cut Solskær's career short but the baby-faced assassin had already enshrined himself in footballing folklore when he decided to hang up his boots in 2007.
