Did you know Hasenhüttl translates to 'rabbit hutch' from German? Anyway, the Saints remain securely locked in the Premier League for at least another season under their wily Austrian manager, and they're celebrating the fact with an astonishingly bold, decidedly mayoral home strip.

Southampton began life in an Andean sash, and revived the motif for their 125th anniversary in 2011, but never have they had the inverted colour scheme as a home strip. It's absolutely lush: success or failure in the forthcoming season will determine if it goes down as a repeatable classic.
