How the Olympic Ceremony Should Have Been Directed

The opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics caused a great divide of opinion. While some compared it to be on same wavelength as the marvellous spectacle of Beijing 2008, others considered it to be tremendously over-hyped and failing to impact outside of Great Britain. I, personally, was very disappointed with the ceremony. Being a Briton, this was a chance for the GB to clearly show the world why it was one of the world most known and highly developed nations. A tag they failed to justify. So, with the help of few, I have put together a number of ideas and acts that I believe should have performed at the opening ceremony and that would've made a much larger impact across the globe. Please note: This article is not a step by step instruction manual on how I believe the Olympic ceremony should have been directed. It is just a entertaining, opinionated brief discussion of the ideas and acts that should and shouldn't have performed. Hope you enjoy!
