The Portuguese international came to Manchester as a boy with immense raw potential and left as arguably the best player on the planet. His power, drive and incredible skills meant that whenever United were on TV and he was playing it was essential viewing. The 07-2008 season was his greatest in a United shirt. Everything seemed to click for Ronaldo and he simply couldn't stop scoring even if he wanted too. He may not have reached the pinnacle of performance that he has at Real Madrid, but Cristiano Ronaldo will still go down as one of Manchester United's greatest ever players and that's a plaudit in itself.
