Liverpool: 5 Reasons The Reds Can Win The Premier League

1. Winning Games On A Regular Basis

Another factor that makes Liverpool a real threat for the Premier League title is their ability to win league games on a regular basis. In general, teams that are good going forward tend not to draw many games €“ while those with weaker attacks are more likely to draw a good few games. I think this is perhaps illustrated by a comparison between the Reds and arch rivals Everton. The Toffees currently sit fifth in the league just one point behind Liverpool. However, what€™s interesting is they have only lost twice this season €“ the best record in the league. But their attacking record is nowhere near as good with just 32 goals scored €“ this means they are far more likely to draw games as they have on eight occasions this season. Liverpool in contrast has lost five times in the league, but has drawn only three times this season. Therefore, although their style of football is more high risk; they are much more likely to go on a run of consecutive wins €“ and that makes them serious contenders for the EPL title this season.
