Late last year, rumours suggesting Alexis Sanchez was set for a move to the Premier League in January mounted. Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool were all interested at the time, and the Chilean has gone on to excel since. Sanchez has 11 La Liga goals in 16 appearances this season and is finally starting to live up to his potential after two unsuccessful seasons at Barcelona following his move from Udinese. The forward has recently distanced himself with a move away from the Nou Camp and it would take a sizable bid to prise him away from the Spanish champions, given his recent performances have only served to increase his market value. Yet Sanchez is precisely the marquee signing that would fire Liverpool back into the Champions League and surely a dream acquisition for supporters out there.
