2. Jay Rodriguez
Rodriguez really started to impress me when he played a key role in dismantling Liverpool's defence in a 3-1 win for the Saints. Rodriguez scored that day and was involved in the majority of Southampton's attacks - as well as being a vital part of the Saints' pressing game. He scored a week later and seemed to hit good form during the second half of the season as Pochettino went about saving Southampton from relegation. He seemed to thrive on the hard work of the Argentinian's pressing game and seems to enjoy the passing aspects of the new managers game. These are obviously two aspects that BR is trying to install into Liverpool's play: pressing and short passing. Rodriguez is obviously low on experience but could be a cheap gamble for Liverpool - unless his English heritage brings the price above £5/6 million which might be a stretch too far.
