Man City Transfers: 5 Reasons Mario Balotelli Needs To Leave

3. Temper

87balotelli 1 Mario has shown us several times that he isn't the calmest person on the planet and with his latest run in with Mancini this is a prime example of why he should be shown the door. His temper not only puts himself at a disadvantage but must surely be grating on his fellow players too. His neglect for players on the pitch is too is cause for concern and albeit we may have yet to see the best of Mario's playing ability, he may do well to cut his violent tendencies out of his game very soon or he will quickly get a bad reputation.

2. Leniency

Time and time again Mario has made the headlines for his woeful antics yet we never see him being reprimanded at all and always followed by a press statement from Roberto Mancini saying "No action will be taken". This serves as a bad example to the rest of the Manchester City squad and gives the impression that no matter how much of an imbecile you are, you will still be let off the hook. If we can draw comparisons, look at David Beckham. By all accounts he had just a bad game and got a boot in the head for his troubles from Mr Ferguson. Now I'm not condoning what he did, but you can be damn sure he set an example to the rest of the Manchester United squad and this is why Mario needs to be booted out sooner rather than later, to show the rest of squad who really is in charge.
