Man Utd Transfers: 5 Dream Deadline Day Signings Moyes Should Make

1. Cristiano Ronaldo

Since we have our heads in the clouds a little bit, we may as well go the full hog and chuck in Cristiano Ronaldo, what a deadline-day signing he'd make. The return of the Portuguese ace to Old Trafford would blow every other transfer that has come before this summer well and truly out of the water and stun United's rivals ahead of the new season. The oracle that is the Daily Star reckon the Red Devils could re-sign the classy No.7 after Gareth Bale finally gets his dream move to Real Madrid. It will be interesting to see how Ronaldo and Bale play in the same team - if it is even possible for that matter. Meanwhile, the Mail Online claim United have left the No.7 shirt - famously worn by the likes of Eric Cantona in the past - vacant this season, triggering speculation Ron is set for a return home. Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 appearances for United and won three Premier League titles and the Champions League in a trophy-laden 6-year spell before being sold to Madrid in a world-transfer-record £80 million deal. Can any of these deals happen? Do you expect David Moyes to announce a blockbuster signing on September 1? Let us know in the comment section, below.
