Reports surfaced in October that United's young goalkeeper David de Gea is unsettled in England and is missing his native Spain. You can hardly blame him given the contrast of the two countries' climes - the rain and drizzle of December to the Spanish sunshine. With that came news that Real Madrid were interested in his signature, looking to replace the ageing Cassilas. Added to that, Ferguson himself has heavily rotated his two goalkeepers this season - seemingly not content with either the Spaniard or number two Lindegaard. It's perhaps no surprise then that United have recently been linked (source - goal.com) with Stoke City's Asmir Begovic. The Bosnian keeper has eight Premier League clean sheets to his name so far this season - that's six more than Man United have managed.
