Galatasaray are one of the clubs who look serious in their enquiries about Nani's services, with a bid made to Manchester United which fell short of the
£12 million-or-so asking price that new boss David Moyes set. The Turkish giants are known for having great wealth and have shown that they are becoming serious contenders with the signings of the likes of Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder. If the two clubs can agree on a price that suits both parties, a club such as Galatasaray - with their great history and who do not necessarily have the pressure that comes with playing for United - could be the perfect opportunity for the winger to revive his career. Alternatively, a loan deal to Turkey could work out and give Nani some playing time before a possible return to his parent club or a permanent deal in the future. With fellow Premier League players such as Mikel and Sagna linked with a move to Galatasaray, they look set for another busy transfer market. Moyes may look to offload Nani as quickly as possible with reports that United want to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo, and with a number of clubs interested Galatasaray will need to cough up the right amount in order to beat the competition.
Reports from around a month ago suggested that the Turkish champions gave up on their attempts to sign Nani, though later suggestions state that they have renewed their interest. This seems to be the perfect move for a player in his position, but the fee is the only issue with this one.
