Man Utd Transfers: 5 Reasons Fergie Must Sign Cheick Tiote

4. He€™s Left Footed

Manchester United played 11 players on Monday night. 10 of which were right footed. Van Persie came on so it€™s safe to assume Man United may at some point play with 2 left footed players in their team of 11. This is not an unheard of problem but with a team of United€™s ambitions they need to be far less one way and predictable; which having a team of right footers does. Styles of play become more predictable as players favour their stronger foot and the direction it leads them. Having a left footed player in the centre of midfield will bring some much needed balance to the side as well as a different range of passing, vision and another layer for the opposition to deal with.
