Khedira's contract situation at Real Madrid has been running on for some time now, and while he's suggesting he wouldn't be against signing a contract extension at the club, his agents have apparently been fielding offers, with Turkey the latest destination to become favourite with the bookies. The German is exactly the kind of engine player United still miss since Paul Scholes left: he is capable of playing in any central midfield role and his leadership experience is without question. It's just a shame for United that they will probably have to fight off both Chelsea and Arsenal to sign him.
