Moussa Sissoko has been linked with a move away from Newcastle United this summer but over the weekend the player was reported to be set for a new deal on Tyneside. The new deal indicates the strides that the Magpies are making this summer and the 25-year-old will be a key part of Steve McClaren's attacking options this season.
Attacking-Midfield - Siem De Jong
Siem De Jong is finally fit and has showed his ability during pre-season. It seems like Steve McClaren is wanting to utilise the Dutchman's creativity by playing his as the central attacking-midfielder as part of the 4-2-3-1 formation. This position could also be filled by Ayoze Perez - or even Georginio Wijnaldum - and it will be a close call to see who McClaren selects here.
Attacking-Midfield - Ayoze Perez
Ayoze Perez will battle against Rolando Aarons for this spot but I think the Spaniard will get the nod ahead of the English midfielder. Perez's ability to beat defenders and his natural composure in the box will cause problems for the Southampton defence.
