Moving away from individual performances, one of the league changes during the off-season (aside from the on-field golden 50s to mark the Super Bowl anniversary) was to take PAT attempts back from the 2yd line to the 15. The measure, designed to encourage more exciting 2-point plays, is not an earth-shifting amendment but it has already wielded a couple of victims with the Titans' Ryan Succop and Eagles' kicker Cody Parkey both missing extra points. They'll get over it soon enough, but it does show that while the kick is still simple, there's a little bit more to think about. Hopefully there'll be a few more 2-pointers to enjoy this season.
